I am easily able to develop relationships with decision makers by understanding their unique needs and identifying appropriate solutions to achieve their goals.
I grew up in a small rural town. I learned at a young age from my father that success does not always come between nine and five. He worked shift work in a textile factory, but always found time to coach my little league baseball games. I was drawn to politics and public policy after a farmer tried to sell his land to trash company to build a landfill just a few miles from my home. I went to meetings with my grandfather, listening to everyone talk about the toxic chemicals that would contaminate the groundwater and pollute the river nearby. After college, I pursued opportunities to help people find creative solutions to their most important needs. As an aide to Congressman Wayne Gilchrest that often meant putting constituents in touch with the appropriate agency or providing updates on legislation critical to their interests.
As a Senior Business Development Representative for Potomac Fund Management, I helped financial advisors, often small-business owners grow their practice utilizing our time-tested investment strategies and creative marketing tools.
I am currently Manager of Communications/Manager of Home Heating Fuels Division at the Petroleum Marketers Association of America.
I am available to work with organizations focused on improving the world beginning with their communities through creative and effective grassroots activities.
